NYC（New York City）にはThanksgiving Dayに到着したのですが、この日行われていたパレードは残念ながらみれませんでした。私達がNYCに到着した時にはすでにパレードが終わった後だったらしく、町にはたくさ～～ん(+_+)の人、人、人と紙ふぶき◇◆◇が散っていました。
▲これがパレードの終着地であるMacy'sのデパート。品揃えが豊富な上、他の高級デパートにくらべ安価。また、アメリカではどのデパートでもThanksgiving Dayの翌日から大バーゲンが始まるのが恒例となっていますが、このMacy'sデパートでは朝６時(＠_＠;)からバーゲンが始まるそうです。（勿論、私達は行っていませんよぉ）またThanksgiving Dayを迎えると世間ではバケーションモードになり、クリスマスの日まではみんなウキウキ気分。日本でもクリスマス１ヶ月前はTVのコマーシャル等の影響もあって、なんだか毎日が忙しなく感じまたウキウキとした気分になりますよね、それと同じなんだと思います。
▲今年のパレードのメインバルーンはシュレックのだったようです。
▲パレードで散った紙ふぶきを片付けているところです。あぁ～見たかったなぁ、パレード(>_<)
▲これは、フラットアイアン・ビル。三角形の特異な形△ （ビルの上から見るとアイロンの形をしているので）からフラットアイアンという名前がつけられたそうです。
▲これが正真正銘のNew Yorkerです！（笑）犬の散歩はこうしてヘッドホンで音楽を聴きながら街のド真ん中を歩くんですよ～(^^♪
▲NYの象徴とも言われるエンパイヤー・ステート・ビル。このビルは、９・１１テロで崩壊してしまったワールドトレードセンターに次いで２番目に高いビルだったのですが、トレードセンタービルが崩壊してしまった今では、NYで１番高いビルなのです。
▲このエンパイヤー・ステート・ビルは夜になるこんな風にとてもキレイにイルミネーションされるのです。実際には１９種類ものイルミネーションもあるらしい・・・すごいすぎ、ﾁﾗﾁﾗして目が痛くなりそう(~_~;)

パレードの開催時間は朝９－１２時の３時間だけ。１日中やっていてくれたらな～私達も見れたのに･･･(>_<)
NYには一度も行ったことがないのですが、行くなら絶対Macy'sのパレードとロックフェラーセンターのツリー点灯式（28日）を見たいです！ 毎年ターキーの焼き具合を確認しながらテレビでパレードを見てます（西海岸だと朝の10時ぐらいなんですよ～）。旅行記の続きを楽しみにしてますね！
やっぱりthanksgivingの時にはターキーをご自宅で焼かれたんですね。うらやましぃ～。私達はロックフェラーセンターも行きましたけどもちろん、クリスマスツリーにはまだ点灯されてませんでした・・・（すべてにおいてタイミングが悪かったのです）
ノリコさんがNYに行かれたことがないということにちょっとビックリです！
